Weather

Sunny, breezy, a bit on the unseasonably warm side

Snowpack

Snow surface was comprised primarily of pencil to knife density persistent/wind slab or near surface facets/recycled powder on N, NE, and E aspects. Melt freeze crust common on SE and S facing slopes near treeline. No pits were dug but ski pole probes revealed a top heavy snowpack in many areas, particularly shaded and leeward slopes.

Avalanche

No avalanches were visible in Current Creek or across the valley near Mines and Flora peaks and visibility was excellent. No cracking or whumping was observed on this tour.
