Snowpack
SE aspects around 11000 ft:
In hasty pits, moderate results at interface at bottom of storm snow and lower-density snow from last week, around 45 cm below the surface. This looked like the layer the remote-triggered Storm Slab broke on.
Moderate test results in faceted snow from late November, about 90 cm below the surface. The facets were above a prominent melt-freeze layer.
