Field ice conditions

Went down to Field today to check on the condition of the ice climbs. The short answer is: wait. Twisted is probably the best looking thing down there, although not really formed it looks like you might be able to climb a left line. Massey's, Silk Tassel, Pilsner, Carlsberg and Guinness are all not formed. Some icicles around the edges, so some of the mixed routes might be possible, but no pure ice to be seen. 0 degrees and less than 5 cm of snow in the valley bottom today.
