Snowpack
Overall structure still poor with prominent strong over weak layering. A new wind slab layer is being added today. Lots of wind transport forming thin slab on N-E-SE aspects. Depth and coverage at treeline highly variable. Hard and slick bedsurface right below Monday nights snow and today's windslab on north and northeast facing wind-affected slopes. Difficult skinning. I Would anticipate easily triggered sluffs and windslabs at this interface on steeper N-E facing slopes at and above treeline.
