Weather

First clear day after a stormy weekend. Winds light (for Monarch). Observed snow blowing in the alpine.

Snowpack

Snow depth ranged between 100cm and 64cm. Mid-pack structure has strengthened, and Dec 6th nsf layer was not identified. Problematic layer is final 10cm of pack, rounding 4F 1-2mm depth hoar. Easy/Mod and no CT results were observed at this interface. Snowpack has strengthened considerably since the beginning of this snowy period.
