Skiing the benches today riding quality was really good, all tracks have been completely filled in. Phantom couloir was the mission today although due to being completely socked in we were unable to summit. With high winds and 20 cm of new storm snow the couloir had filled in and no tracks were visible. 220 cm of snow in the pit on the south facing aspect on the top of the benches. 25 cm of fist storm snow 175cm mfsc 160 mfrc 160 - 100 1finger stiffness Ct 6 cracked with the new storm snow Ct 27 cracked the first crust 45 cm down Ct 28 failed on the lower crust but didn’t come out as a slab the snow was pretty well bonded. Observed a size 1 on the way out but couldn’t get good eyes on it with the visibility. Overall a marvellous day out in some pretty terrible visibility.
