Tour around Longworth/Moxley Ck headwaters. Snowpack depth avg 200cm at treeline, 1700m,with the Jan 8? Meltfreeze crust probed down 40cm, and the early Dec crust down 150cm. Surface hoar is very large, up to 30mm on the sheltered Northerly aspects down into the trees, and up to ridgecrests, also on South aspects in open areas. For sure something to be aware of after the next snowfalls occur. 1 recent natural loose dry avalanche, out of steep rocky south aspect, at treeline 1750m ,size 1.5.
