40 cms storm snow on the Cleveland glacier, the bottom 20 cms has stiffened with the colder temps and the upper 20 cms remained light and dry. Some surface hoar formation around 1300 m in sheltered terrain. Ski penetration 20 cms. Several size 1-2 natural slab avalanches on steep terrain in north-east aspects.

Elevation 1700m. 40 cms storm snow on the Cleveland glacier, the bottom 20 cms has stiffened with the colder temps and the upper 20 cms remained light and dry. Some wind effect at this elevation. Probed 260 cm on the glacier. Some surface hoar formation around 1300 m in sheltered terrain. Ski penetration 20 cms.
