Fantastic days of skiiing in McKirdy Meadows! We skiied both January 17 and 18. Both days were inversion days, which led to some awesome views from the top; it was blue bird sky and perfect visibility. The snowpack was super stable and we were very confident skiing. There was maybe 1cm at most of crust/surface hoar on top, which looked like diamonds across the snow as the sun shone. Underneath was soft and fluffy.
