Did a lap through Montana trees down to the road where we found great snow. Skinned up Kokanee ridge where we noted a fair amount of natural avalanche activity on the North aspect of the south ridge ranging in size from 1-2.5. Hard to say from across the bowl but it doesn’t look like anything stepped down to the basal faucets. Skied low angle pow in open trees most of the way down and had another amazing lap. No signs of instability where we skied and the new snow seems to be beginning to bond to the very consolidated snow underneath.

Noted what looked to be at least 4 crowns on the N aspect of the S ridge of Kokanee. Avalanches looked to be a natural result of the heavy snow on Friday. Avalanches ranged in size from 1-2.5. It looked to mostly be the storm snow sliding as things warmed up and did not appear to step down to the basal facets. These observations were taken from a distance and in flat light and should be taken with a grain of salt
