Chilly day out riding in -20 but hey the sun was shining and made it feel warmer. Noticed a few size 2 avalanches some older ones on North to NE aspects and a smaller size 1 more recent on on a SW from the recent NE winds. We had shooting cracks in wind affected areas but we avoided these areas cause the light to moderate NE winds were chilly so we decided to stick to more protected areas where the snow was better about how. In elevations up to around 1400m there was a crust from the recent warm up now buried by the previous storm 5-10cm.
