Top ~300 m was decent powder and good riding conditions, there was ~8 cm of new snow and the bottom part was very heavy. Coverage at the bottom is still thin. We saw no signs of instability, but a few hand shear tests showed that the layer from last night wasn’t consolidated yet. Trees were riding better than open slopes in the mid section.
