Skied ledge couloirs as a heavy inversion moved in. Recent storm slab aprox 40 cm gave a stubborn planar result in hasty pits but no major instabilities were noted while riding. Experienced onset of freezing rain and temperature rise to aprox 0 degrees up to at least 1800 m by 16:00. Anticipate that freezing rain crust may be problematic if temperature drops rapidly with new snowfall.
