Black Prince

We skied the ridge just off the highway by Black Prince, was expecting it to be a lot more wet and heavy than it was. Surface snow was relatively soft but had clearly settled a bit in the past couple days. We dug a pit halfway up at about 2000m on a north aspect, the only concern was that early December crust at about 50cm down which failed at 13 taps. No evidence of avalanche debris anywhere and in the sheltered areas it was some killer skiing. ?
