Spent the last three nights touring at the Coq! We did two days at Zoa (Friday and Sunday) and Saturday up at Nak/Thar. Snow is getting pretty lean at the highway there’s about a 300m bootpack up the pipeline before you hit enough snow to put your skis on for Zoa. Thar, on the other hand, was a different story. Travel was very tough on the way up through the willows and just as challenging on the way down (wouldn’t recommend it, haha). Snow depths ranged from 80cm in the trees to 250 cm in the alpine depending on aspect. Really fun skiing once you're above the treeline. Go out and get after it! P.S. I did spot some bear prints on the NE side of Zoa Ridge.
