Snow has no base and not set up at all. Snow is like riding on sugar. The wind was horrendous and temperatures were easily minus 20. We played on our way to the back Meadows and couldn't help but see the 2-3 cm thick wind Slabs that were breaking under our skis. Easily breaking away from the sugar underneath. Once we got to town (Tumbler Ridge) the temps were only minus nine. Drifting was beginning to occur but there is very little snow.
