Weather
Thin overcast clouds with moments of S1- snow. Warm temperatures near 28F. Winds were light gusting to moderate from the west with blowing snow.
Snowpack
East aspects have soft surface snow near and below treeline. The winds have been lightly transporting loose snow to this aspect but I could only find firm drifts above treeline. Areas exposed to the sun have a melt-freeze crust around 10cm deep. This crust has small facets within and below it that are unconsolidated and reactive in stability tests with moderate force. 30cm deep another crust/facet sandwich is thicker but unreactive. West aspects near treeline are scoured and a shallow snowpack exists. North aspects have mostly soft snow, devoid of crusts, but more facet layers line the mid to lower snowpack.
