Weather

Clear skies in the am, with increasing clouds through the morning. Moderate to Strong ridge top winds with periods of intense wind transport. Snow started in the afternoon, and heavy precipitation rates and whiteout conditions were the name of the game on RMP in the evening.

Avalanche

Looking over to Spirit Gulch a little after 9am, and might have just missed seeing this one go off. ENE, 12300', likely from the intense wind transport on the ridge top above. D2-2.5
