Snowpack

It has been ~3 weeks w/o meaningful precipitation. The past storm only left a scant 1" across the corridor. The snowpack along the 145 corridor remains abnormally thin for the date, with drought conditions prevailing. Overall, paths lack sufficient snow to support flows to the highway. On sunny slopes the snowpack is primarily m/f crust, on shady slopes the snowpack is faceted throughout. A pit dug adjacent to the Waterpipe path: HS 20cm- made entirely of large grained facets (2-4+ mm). Very weak, but path currently lacks contiguous coverage and a slab. Paths south of Rico are similar. Thin and very weak with no slab.
