Snowpack
BTL N-E aspects hold 80-115cm of snow in this location and elevation. Snow from January 29th onward is a cohesive slab laying above developed facets. Lower down in the pit facets ruled supreme and many layers of crust/ facet/ "crud" stood out on the observation wall. Upper snowpack was moist and pinwheels were frequent throughout tour. All results failed beneath the 1/29 layer and propagated well in extended columns. On egress noticeable dirt had began to poke through on southerly pockets of the groomed snowmobile track.
