Super hot out there again today, +8C at 2200m at the top of Crown Mtn today. In some areas the snow has reach a temperature of 0C top to bottom meaning it has lost a lot of its strength - making for a weak snowpack, hip deep foot steps and large loose wet avalanches. In some cases cornice falls and the warming combined have triggered wet slabs as well creating very large destructive avalanches that run to valley bottom.
