Snowpack
Dug on a E-facing wind loaded site just below treeline @ 10,700'. Pit revealed both a reactive surface wind slab as well as several buried wind slabs. Additionally, PWLs existed deeper in the snowpack with large facets towards the bottom and depth hoar at the ground.
Avalanche
Old debris piles on the lake showed evidence of past avalanches.
