Weather
Clear skies in the morning with less wind then forecasted. ATL winds were gusty but only in the 15-20mph range.
Snowpack
Just probed around near the summit around 12k and measured avg 175-220cm. Some hard wind slabs forming up right on the ridge line but once on the leeward side snow conditions softened up.
Avalanche
Looks like a hard slab avalanche R2/D2 that released down to the old snow surface. This avalanche is on the North Side of Woods Mountain at the NTL band.
