SSV - Brewster rock

Really good early season conditions at Sunshine. You can skin up directly from the parking lot (although thin all the way up to Goat's Eye). Best skiing was found between Angel Express and TP Town chairs. Higher up in the alpine towards the top of the Divide chair, a good 15cm of pow overlying a really supportive 3cm crust with another 15-20cm underneath (didn't analyze, but I'd figure that bottom layer was already faceted out). No sluffing on the crust, but something to check out as the cold spell continues and snow eventually piles on. Really good conditions for early Nov. Hit it before SSV open up this coming Wednesday !
