Single digit temperatures in the morning with light winds. Temperatures warmed through the day and winds picked up in the early afternoon drifting the very low density snow that fell on the 9th.
Snowpack
2-4” of new low density snow. Found unreactive wind drifts 10” deep. In some areas the mid pack slab has lost cohesion and it was unreactive. In other areas there was a 1-Finger hard slab mid pack that I was getting mixed results breaking on the December 11 facet layer. It took 15-25 taps to get failure in ECT's. Experienced a handful of small localized collapses through the day on sheltered E facing slopes.
