Clear skies, temperatures reached the low 30s at Pass level and the 20s along the Divide. Winds were out of the southwest, 10-20 mph with 30-40 mph gusts. 30" HS at the CAIC WCP Snow Study Plot.
Snowpack
No signs of instability. Solid, supportable snowpack on all northwest througn east aspects near treeline. Widespread surface hoar (up to 10mm) and near surface faceting (2mm typical) formation. Facets exist on top of a melt freeze crust on sunny aspects.
