Weather
Warming daytime temperatures with another night above freezing at Skyway. Gusty Southwest wind increased throughout the day with gusty winds at pass level on McClure by midday.
Snowpack
Isothermal. Intermittently supportable surface crust with foot penetration to the ground when I did punch through at 1000 am at the GM weather plot. Cliffs have lost a significant amount of snow and more rocks are showing in the paths. The steep cliffs at the top of the start zones are devoid of snow and the unsupported slopes of #4-#6 are patchy.
Avalanche
One small loose wet avalanche in Cliffs #2 reached the shoulder. Probably ran on 4/29 or 4/30
