Weather

Mostly clear skies, cold overnight and warm daytime temperatures. Strong winds from the north on the 26th. A brief afternoon snow shower on the 27th.

Snowpack

No sings of instability on NW-N-E aspects. We stayed mostly below treeline for two days and found no signs of instability. Northerly aspects were supportable with widespread surface hoar and near surface faceting present. Sunny aspects were developing an unsupportable melt freeze crust.

Avalanche

No recent avalanche activity was observed.
