9500-9700ft Sunny, calm winds, air temp was single digits in the AM and warmed to high teens during the day. High clouds present that took a little bit of the edge off of solar warming. Snow surface remained cold.
Snowpack
20cms of fresh out of this weekends storm. Pretty low density snow sitting on old, faceted snow with a sun crust tucked in the middle for good measure. Dug on a flat aspect at 9600ft, snow depth 55cm new snow was fist hard, on top of 4 finger facets, on top of 2cm sun crust, on top of 1 finger facets. Still not finding much flotation and no real slab to speak of. CT didn't produce any results.
