Avalanche
Viewing from the summit of James Peak this morning, we saw a relatively recent natural avalanche on the east face of point 12,090' (north northwest of the summit of Parry Peak). Crown was just below the cornice, and the debris field was out of sight, so we couldn't judge the size of the slide. In the uploaded image, you can see the upper portion of the slide (and you can see Mary Jane in the background).
