Yankee Doodle Lake, East to South, 10700ft, near tree line. Broken becoming overcast, light wind, no snow.
Snowpack
SE aspect near Yankee Doodle Lake, near tree line, 25 degree slope. Just over 300cm HS; 30cm of snow from the previous two storms, ~10cm from last storm; fist to 4 finger in top 30cm on top of a small layer of facets, layer of ice, another layer of facets, and a large dense slab underneath. Snow felt solid and we did not observe cracking or whumpfing. Sidehilled a couple small 30+ degree east facing slopes with no sign of instability. Rollers from previous day visable on south slopes.

2 natural R1 D1 soft slabs on south face above Yankee Doodle lake. 11000ft starting near steep terrain features.
