Weather
Single digit temps, low wind, off and on sun.
Snowpack
4-5 inches of new snow, drifted slightly deeper in places. Seemed to be resting on a recent crust. No signs of instability (cracking nor collapsing) under foot. Although there were signs of instability on steeper/higher terrain (detailed below).
Avalanche
Multiple small natural wind slab avalanches observed on nearby East facing terrain in cirques at ~12.5k. All seemed to be the result of small cornice fall. Larger and older debris piles observed in the same cirques.
