Weather
Temperatures jumped into the low 40's below 10,000 under mostly clear skies. It was below freezing above 11,000 with mostly cloudy skies. Northwesterly winds were strong at the ridgetops. The road was drifting shut at the pass level.
Snowpack
No signs of natural activity outside of the small wet activity. The tracks in the highway avalanche paths on the wets side of the pass were getting filled in. Winds were stripping most of the westerly-facing starting zones.
Avalanche
Small wet loose avalanche sin the lower canyon on any slopes that the sun hit.
