Weather

Cold, light snow, and strong westerly wind.

Snowpack

The snowpack is overloaded by this storm. Widespread natural avalanche activity observed on all aspects and elevations. Westerly slopes in the alpine have been wind-stripped and large drifts near ridgelines on lee slopes and even alone roads below treeline.

Avalanche

Widespread Natural cycle. I was blow away by a large avalanche that ran about CR 51 leaving 4-6 feet of debris on the road for 250-300feet. A homeowner in the area said it ran on the night of the 14th.
