Snowpack

9800 ft, N to NW aspect. See Snowpilot Plot for details. Extended Column Test failed and propagated on isolation at 21cm which was the top of 2mm depth hoar layer. This continues to be significant problem and weak foundation our snowpack is sitting on. The mid-pack in this location seemed pretty solid, The location is not wind affected. There were no big density jumps, grain size jumps, or noticed faceting.
