Broken to overcast skies with light snow and temps in the teens while I was out in the field today. Winds were calm.
Snowpack
On a southeast aspect near treeline I found and Hs of about 140cm. There is a 1F-P hard slab over basal facets--this interface is about 80cm below the surface. There are two melt-freeze crusts in the upper 30cm of the snowpack, with facets and decomposing fragments above and below them. I had non-propagating ECT results below each of these crusts.
