Snowing S1 to S2 this morning, but higher precipitation rates and snow totals were isolated to terrain above 10,500' on Red Mountain Pass. Breezy with mostly southerly winds, though blowing snow was limited below tree line.
Snowpack
HN24 6 inches at 11,600ft on a NE aspect. HS here is 128cm. Nearly half of the snowpack has fallen in the last couple weeks. Last week's storm has settled and stiffened into a more cohesive 4F+ slab, and winds in recent days have rearranged coverage near and above tree line. I experienced one rumbling collapse in an untrafficked area, but obvious signs of instability are becoming less frequent
