Weather

Berthoud, N/NE, 12,100-11,900ish, light winds with some flurries. Cloud cover about 40%. I didn't get an actual temp but upper 20s would be my estimate.

Snowpack

Current Creek was fresh snow on a windslab (1-2inch thick) on top of mostly sugar

Avalanche

First rider dropped, made a few turns into the chute, first crack I saw was above them and then they were surrounded. Rider managed to stay on top of snow (airbag did deploy) but was carried roughly 400 vertical feet. Did not talk to the skier(s) but they were up and moving around after they had stopped.
