Partly cloudy skies and light breeze keeping snow surface cool.

Snowpack

Last round of storm snow has settled to ~4-6" of melt forms over the last dust layer. When warmed up this dust layer is sliding surface for small loose wet avalanches. Looking into the alpine previous wind loading is obvious on n-e slopes.

Avalanche

Small wet loose avalanches observed above treeline on Star Mountain, running on most recent dust layer.
