Snowpack

20cm supportable and rough textured surface crust. On a SE aspect there was wet and weak snow under the crust. Isothermal temperature profile. Less resistant rounding faceted layers in the mid-pack interspersed with pencil hard slabs. The snowpack was wet or moist top to bottom and the depth hoar was significantly rounded and lacked any visible striations. See profile from Hunter Avalanche Path. Prospect Hill terrain consists of heavily forested slopes with more open gulley features.
