Skied the town gully yesterday afternoon. The skin up was easy enough - nice additional transition to bootpacking practice on the stairs! The feature goes, but there were some hidden sharks and it was pretty wind affected. Some old debris at the bottom - for climbers, the faces back there were plastered with snow and I’d worry about spindrift and the windloaded features approaching the base of the rock. The fan was variable with a grabby wind skin and the odd pocket of nice skiing. Still a bit thin and sharky lower down. We skied the treed shoulder out after skiing a bit far down the drainage and getting cliffed out for our 30m rope. The trees were not as faceted as I thought they might be. The cold meant there was no one on highline or the dog park which was nice
