Well settled right side up snowpack BTL. Surface hoar 5-10mm, up to 15mm in protected areas (see photo). 20 cm of fist resistance new snow sits on 30 cm of 1 finger resistance decomposed and fragmented crystals. The top 50 cm has a strong temperature gradient and is becoming faceted. Below 50cm is pencil hard rounds with no significant shears. Rain crust down 123 cm is non reactive (DTN). Tree line has been wind affected by moderate SW winds. Wind slabs are building. Still good skiing in lee areas - NE aspect.
