Snowpack

Start zone snow depths were typically 30-40cm, but I was able to find areas with a bit more than 60cm on the ground. The roughness of the underlying ground was still apparent through the overlying snowpack, with shrubs and small trees sticking through in places. I dug near shot R3 and found a faceted "slab" over well developed depth hoar with a 10cm melt-freeze crust at the ground. Non-propagating ECT results between the "slab" and the depth hoar.
