Partly Cloudy, temps around freezing at 11,000', above freezing below treeline.
Snowpack
Dug 1 NE facing pit near ridgeline (~11,000') in an attempt to find a windslab over facets but only found 90cm of pencil/knife hard slab on ground. Some faceting starting to occur at ground but crystals were still sintered. Poking around in the snow on the way up found highly variable snow with approx. 15 cm 4 finger snow on 10 cm of fist snow. No signs of instability were observed.
