Snowpack
CMC lvl 1 class toured up Williams Peak on a N'ly aspect, some signs of upper snow instability and small soft slabs were found on the lee side of the upper ridges. In the pits all groups found two PWL's 20cm and 40cm down, both layers were SH, also 5mm SH was found on the surface. Groups consistently got results of CTM's with resistant planar Q2 results in pits failing on the SH layers. HS:120. Heavy skier traffic everywhere.
