Weather

-12 to - 10C. Light late morning W wind which picked up steam by early afternoon, lots of blowing snow ensued. Mostly clear but became obscured with blowing snow above tree line.

Snowpack

HS near and below TL ranges from 145 to 185 cm's. Above TL, 200+. Several nsf layers sandwiched by thin layers of wind affected slabs in the top 30 cm's of the surface, above tree line. A mix of soft and hard slabs on the surface depending on aspect. Only found buried .5cm SH in one test plus pit on a N'ly aspect near TL. ECTP's moderate strength but full propagation. Ski pen up to 25 cm's near and above TL. Deeper pillows in less wind affected areas.
