Weather

Based on spindrift coming off of the summit massive, winds appeared to be coming from the southeast which created loading on western aspects. We didn't have a thermometer but I would expect the temperature never rose above 20 degrees at altitude. The skies were clear.

Snowpack

The previous night it snowed ~2 inches above 12,000 feet.

Avalanche

We easily triggered a small wind slab avalanche on a west-northwest slope at ~13,600 on Pyramid's northwest ridge. The crown was 3 inches deep and 15 feet across.
