Weather

Cold, clear, and windy. First winter-like day of the season. Strong solar on sunny slopes.

Snowpack

Plums of snow were observed drifting off high mountain peaks. Northerly winds moved snow onto leeward slopes. The new snow was drifting onto what was bare ground. The snow was low density and fetches ran out of snow in the late afternoon. Though it was nice to get a few inch's of new snow the snowpack is still thin and grass shows through on many slopes.

Avalanche

No avalanche activity was observed.
