But here's a friendly reminder that even "avalanche-safe" routes can still have plenty of danger. This 10-15 foot slab, at least a foot thick, broke and slid 15 feet or so, right after I traversed off of it. It was convex and I was crossing just under it. The crown line went from my feet right and up way above my head. Stay safe!
