Scattered clouds, mild temps, and calm to light winds.
Snowpack
Solid feeling snowpack until you take your skis off- foot penetration to the ground. Sunny skies and warm temps melting snow surface on all aspects except N.
Avalanche
Numerous observed avalanches from the last cycle. Some are older (or maybe just filled in with snow and wind) and barely visible and others more recent, but all estimated to have occurred in the period 3/1-3/3. All elevations on NW-N-E aspects. All in the R2-3, D2-2.5 size range. Several on N aspects went to the ground. No Loose Wet snow activity observed.
